Booths are going up, vendors are panicking, and me, I'm ready.

The 2011 Junction City Scandinavian Festival will open for business Thursday August 11th at 10am, and come to a close Sunday August 14th at 8pm. I will be on site, at my usual location, the intersection of 5th and Holly streets, near the Finnish Locomotive.

Yes, I'll be demonstrating, and taking custom orders. My stock this year is better than it's been in years, and I've even made a few pieces that I haven't done in years.

Be sure to check out the new Dragonnette's. There's two styles, and MANY colors.

For me, I've been getting ready for Festival for almost 4 months, and it's all coming down to the final push here Tuesday. That's when Festival begins for me. I borrow the neighbors pickup, and tow the booth down to the site where we set it up. If everything works well, we'll be set up and ready to go sometime early Wednesday. I may even get a chance to blow glass for a few hours before I go home and get a good nights sleep.

If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and say "Hi" I love to see my friends, and all the people I've met there over the years. LOL, just watch out for the crowds, and remember, after 8:00pm trying to get CLOSE to my booth can take time, especially if I've got a torch running (which I nearly always do)
